PRO TIPS
Exercise caution when chasing deals with Unbelievable deals. Like a magician uses distractions for a successful magic trick, pushy offers and sales tactics are used as distractions while still seeking huge profits.
COMPANY RESEARCH
Doing your due diligence upfront can save you a lot of problems on the back end. It is a good idea to start your research by answering the three questions below:

1) Are They Legitimate?
Make sure the company is fully licensed and insured. Don't be afraid to ask upfront.

2) Are They Established?
Select a company that has been servicing your area for a long time is beneficial for any warranty issues down the road and they will have a reputation to protect.

3) Do They Have a Good Reputation?
Do your due diligence and read any of the negative review you come across. Too many negative reviews can be a big red flag that it is not worth dealing with that company. Also, be mindful that not all small business will have a lot of reviews. Sometimes, they can offer the best deals because they have lower overhead.

SALE PROMOTIONS
Free Installation Offers
Labor is not free, it is very expensive. Especially quality installers. If fact, most installers are actually subcontractors that are hired by your selected company. They are typically not employees.

Free Product Offers
Window companies seem to offer this quite often. If you are wanting new windows for your home, they will, and should be, custom made to order as they can typically be ordered and built to the nearest 1/8". Does anything custom made to order sound free to you? Check out the fine print on those “free” window or installation offers. They always have a minimum quantity requirement. Those "free" windows are paid back when you pay for the non-free products or services. They are there to make sure there are enough margins built-in to still make large profits from you.
Sign Today Offers
If you get any pressure to sign today then you are probably being over charged. If they were confident in their low price, why would they be so concerned for you to sign the contract?

WARRANTIES
Labor and Manufacturer Warranties
Lifetime warranties are only for the lifetime of the product, not your lifetime. Therefore, every manufacturer will determine what they will cover and for how long. These manufacturer warranties will cover only certain parts of the product and often do not cover installation. This is why you will also need to look at the installation warranty. Will the company really come back 10 years later if your windows start to fail? Get it all in writing, read it thoroughly, and understand that every company will be different. Keep an eye out for the fine print that you see on the advertisements. They are barely visible, have tiny font, and are extremely lengthy.
